Point-to-Point Continuity Tester – AEMC Model CA6011
Description
The Model CA6011 Continuity Tester is a unique wrist-worn point-to-point test instrument for verifying continuity across large interconnected systems. It is a faster, simpler, and lightweight solution for testing grounded pathways and connections over long distances even in hard-to-reach places.
With a 200 mA output, automatic polarity reversal, and a continuity probe (available in the Testing Kit), the CA6011 can accurately verify a connection even in hard-to-reach places.
Verifying a conductive path exists on lightning conductors, EGCs, motor frames or grounds, and cabinets by simply connecting one end of the meter’s reel to a ground bus or conductor and contacting the conductor under test at any point on the system. The CA6011 is equipped to emit an audible alarm, vibrate, or both when it detects a low-resistance condition, assuring the operator that a conductive path is present between the two points.
