PT27 is a complete solid-state battery discharge gauge and hour meter in one. The battery gauge indicates state of charge with a 10 bar multi-color LED display. The timer features a 6-digit, 7 segment LCD display. The right LED is lit when the battery is properly charged. As battery state of charge decreases, successive LEDs light up (one at a time). The left-most 2 LEDs flash to indicate empty (80% depth of charge). When the proper charging voltage is applied, the LED display will scan, indicating the charging has begun. The meter will reset to the full charge state when completed. The key switch input turns on and off the LED display. Monitoring the battery continues and the LCD hour meter display is unaffected by this input.
