Dual Display Meters

New models in the YPP Series expand measurement ranges to 300V and 5A AC/DC. These dual input meters are ideal for reading direct inputs or signals from shunts and current transformers.  A math channel calculates apparent power.  The YPP6400 can display any two parameters (V, A, VA) or alternate between the parameters.

Other models in the YPP family include:
Temperature meters that read 9 thermocouple types plus Pt, Cu & Ni RTDs.
Dual input process meters (V/mA) with extensive math capabilities.

All YPP meters are 1/8 DIN with NEMA 4X (IP65) front. Modbus communication via USB, RS232 or RS485 is available.  Relay and 4-20mA outputs are optional.

Locomotive Meters

Rugged construction - metal cases, high shock mechanisms.
Variety of sizes and styles, plus custom dials in any language.
Additional models for light rail and other transit applications.

For more than 30 years, locomotive manufacturers such as GE, EMD and Alstom (General Railway) relied on Weschler Instruments for speedometers, ammeters and other cab instrumentation. The products were supplied under the Weschler, EIL, MeterMaster and Trott company names. These same meters are now available to end users and service companies for maintenance and rebuilds. We have hundreds of OEM drawings on file and can provide an exact replacement for many models, including special designs for regional transit systems. We also offer meter calibration and repair services.
